Do you have an old Proto Pipe that is in serious need of some love?  Look no further, as the Proto Pipe team is now offering a full tune-up service!  If you're missing any pods, stems, pokers, lids, screws, or washers, and want your pipe looking next to new, this new service is right for you. We can get your old pipe back into a fully functioning state, and looking as if it just came out of the box.    

Disclaimer:

On occasion we have seen old pipes that have been modified, worked on, or simply worn out to the degree that the main pipe bowl/body is basically unfixable.  This can cause the tar trap and stem holes to be enlarged, making our press-fit tar traps and stems too loose to properly fit in the pipe.  If we receive a pipe that we deem unfixable we would issue a refund on services, or we could subtract the cost of the Tune Up service from the cost of a replacement pipe.  If you have any questions please feel free to message us via the contact page link located at the bottom of our website.

Please clean your pipes and send them to our warehouse located at 273 Franklin Ave, Willits CA 95490 along with a copy of your order number. Once the pipe is ready, we will ship it back to you with an email tracking number. The fix may take up to a week depending on the condition of the pipe, and the availability of our team members.

Please send pipe/pipes in within 30 days of order date, if not, it will be refunded.

Unhappy for many years

I have been using Proto Pipes for over 40 years. Overall, I have been satisfied with the 11 pipes I have gone through! However, the damn stash pods are always breaking!!! The locking ring always breaks loose from the tube, and then the proton poker falls out and I lose them!!! I currently have in my possession Proto Pipe number 12 which suffers from the above problems. I need a stash pod that is guaranteed not to break its locking ring and poker. I sincerely hope that you have solved this stupidly ridiculous problem finally after all these years!!!! I have purchased at least 7 pokers and 4 pods, when I could find them, because of this manufacturing processes failure over the years. I actually am almost tempted to try and sue you for losses except I don't remember how much I had to spend, and lawyer fees would exceed that cost!!! I would like to know if you have indeed, fixed this grievous error for good and ever? If so, how do you intend to fix this?

Unbelievable!!! and THANK YOU!!!!!!

My pipe’s stem had broke flush with the block a couple of years ago and only kept it fo sentimental reasons ( I had bought it new in ‘85). Saw the service a couple of months ago and sent it in. It was on the way back to me the same day and when I received it I couldn’t believe my eyes. The pipe had a new stem and mouthpiece installed and was sent Back as stated “Looking brand new with a the dents and dings ( memories). Would highly recommend and THANK YOU!!!!!!!

I just received my ProtoPipe Rocket and I am impressed. The machine work that went into this is amazing. The fit is so close that, with the bowl cover closed, you can't draw air through the stem. Fabulous product, well designed and built. This thing should outlast me!

Deeply Grateful!

You made my Proto whole again. Lustrous, all parts there, so obvious that love went into the restoration. It is still my old friend, just.....way better than new. As if I was 14 again, but "know everything I know now" kind of new. The value received was incredible, that pipe was used!! I am indeed Deeply Grateful!
