The Proto Pipe® Classic Highbrid features our beloved Classic body, updated with a Rocket twist. The collar that holds the Poker in place is meticulously hand-crafted and features a knurled finish that improves the function, feel, and aesthetic of the collar.
Then, the whole thing was flipped around and reworked by hand into a pipe that’s specially designed to be easy to use for our Left-Handed Proto Pipe aficionados!
Proto Pipe’s original Classic body that you already know and love, plus our new hand-crafted knurled collar, re-configured to work best for Left-Handed smokers, and brushed to a matte finish.

To care for a Proto Pipe, regular maintenance is essential for longevity and smooth performance. Depending on usage, occasional spot cleaning or a thorough weekly cleaning will help prevent excessive buildup. Cleaning while the resin is still soft is much easier than waiting for it to harden. Use a pipe cleaner, isopropyl alcohol, and Q-tips to remove residue from the bowl, chamber, and mouthpiece. Disassemble the removable components, soak them in rubbing alcohol, and wipe out the tubes and bowl for a deeper clean. After cleaning, thoroughly rinse all parts with hot water to remove any remaining residue. Keeping your Proto Pipe well-maintained not only enhances performance but also preserves its classic look and function.

I picked up the left-hand highbrid classic so my brother wouldn't mix it up with his. He had one from the 90s that he had lost at a concert. So I looked it up and got a righthand one for him, and a lefty for me. It reminds me of a WWI trench lighter. Outstanding design and craftsmanship. Glad that it's available again.
With some people owning these pipes for decades, I can see why they last so long. They have great build quality! As long as you take care of it, I see no reason why these can’t be a Family heirloom. Last for generations.
