To care for a Proto Pipe, regular maintenance is essential for longevity and smooth performance. Depending on usage, occasional spot cleaning or a thorough weekly cleaning will help prevent excessive buildup. Cleaning while the resin is still soft is much easier than waiting for it to harden. Use a pipe cleaner, isopropyl alcohol, and Q-tips to remove residue from the bowl, chamber, and mouthpiece. Disassemble the removable components, soak them in rubbing alcohol, and wipe out the tubes and bowl for a deeper clean. After cleaning, thoroughly rinse all parts withhot waterto remove any remaining residue. Keeping your Proto Pipe well-maintained not only enhances performance but also preserves its classic look and function.

The Deluxe has a .5" longer stash pod, mouth stem and poker. The mouth stem is enlarged to a .25" outer diameter compared to .187" outer diameter on all other models.
I have been using a Proto pipe for 40 years now and still there’s nothing else available that even comes close to its functionality. I consider this the perfect pipe.
Love this so much. I could get rid of all my other glass pipes and wouldn’t miss them with this great pipe.

This is hands down the best design I have seen in my life when it comes to pipes. 50 years, and i just found it recently. Age does not bring knowlage. I regret i didnt buy it day one of its release back in the 70's. You folk are true engineers.
