How to Clean A Proto Pipe®.
Did you find a random Proto Pipe somewhere? Sealed shut, missing parts, or just need weekly cleaning?
FAQ
Where is the Proto Pipe made?
Every Proto Pipe is proudly made in the USA. Each one is precision-machined and hand-assembled for quality that lasts.
How do I clean my Proto Pipe?
Disassemble the pipe, soak parts in isopropyl alcohol (90% or higher), and use a pipe cleaner and Q-tips to clean inside. Rinse out the pipe with hot water making sure all remnants of the alcohol are gone before assembly. Regular cleaning keeps your hits smooth and flavorful.
What happens when my poker becomes loose?
If your poker gets loose or starts falling out, it may just need a slight adjustment. You can bend the collar on the stash tube up ever go gently - the tension from the collar to the poker is what holds it in place. If it’s lost or damaged, replacement pokers are available on our website.
My Tar Trap is Stuck!
Soak in Isopropyl alcohol from a couple hours to overnight if needed to try to loosen up the hardened resin. If you're unable to poke your tar trap out with just your fingers and poker, position the poker in the center screen hole of the pipe and turn the pipe and poker upside down. Tap the butt end of the poker on a hard surface till the tar trap slowly comes out. If you're still having trouble reach out to us.
What’s the difference between the Proto Pipe Classic and Proto Rocket?
There are two main styles of pipes available, the Classic style (with a removable Tar Trap), and the Rocket style (with a swiveling bottom lid in place of a Tar Trap). The Classic, Classic Deluxe and Highbrid all have removable Tar Traps. The Rocket and Voyager have the swivel bottom lid. The Rocket style body is cylindrical in shape while the Classic body has a rounded rectangular shape.
Which pipe has the largest bowl?
The Classic Deluxe has the largest bowl because its the largest pipe we make. Between the Classic and the Rocket, the Classic has a slightly larger bowl than the Rocket.
Do you ship internationally?
