Starting in March of 2023, we have updated the Proto Classic and Highbrid Stash Pod pin location in an effort to make all stash pods interchangeable. I bought it in 99 on Las Vegas Blvd In 2015 I was rolling under a manufactured home in a large lot of homes,in Montana, and it must have fallen out of my pocket. It was snowing and I couldn’t find it. I was heartbroken. It snowed a lot that winter, so the whole area was plowed and replowed many times over. In the spring of 2016, one of the plow guys found it in a dirty old berm of snow. He asked me if I knew anything about the pipe. The stash tube was crushed on the end, and I spent much time gently hammering it out. I love this tough pipe, and plan to soon replace the tube and poker.
I have been a smoker my entire adult life and have had many ways to indulge. But when I found my first Proto pipe I was hooked. It’s the best invention since the ummm, well I guess nothing beats it, not for me, mine goes everywhere with me. Thank you for making my life easier.
My pp has been with me for going on 4 decades when while visiting with dogs down the street, they decided to chew on it. The stash compartment was destroyed along with the rubber mouthpiece. The replacement was indeed tough to get in the first time and a little coercion was in order. Once used for a while I'm sure it will get a little looser and provide a secure spot. Love ❤️ it!
THE STASH POD WAS BENT AND OUT OF ROUND WHEN IT ARRIVED. i THOUGHT THAT IT WAS THE WRONG SIZE WHEN I TRIED TO ATTACH IT TO MY PIPE. I WAS ABOUT TO SEND IT BACK WHEN I NOTICED THAT IT WAS OUT OF ROUND. I STUCK A TAPERED ROUND PUNCH INTO THE POD TO RESHAPE IT BACK TO ROUND. NOW IT WORKES FINE
Matched up really well to old pipe.
